Basketball by Denzel Polty
Basketball is about teamwork, learning new skills, practice, competition, winning game shots, coaching, traveling to games, and ball handling. We start off running until the coach tells to stop and pay attention. Next, we stretch our legs, arms, ankles, shoulders, and back.

Wrestling by Cheryl Nick
Wrestling is my favorite sport! It involves a lot of exercising and can make you stronger. When I first joined wrestling, I was in the seventh grade. I was scared and sore the first day of practice.
In practice, we start off running around the gym until the coach tells us to stop and pay attention. Next, we stretch out our legs, arms, neck, and back. After, we start working in moves and how to do a pin. We also have to practice enough to travel to other villages and schools. We usually go to Chevak, Bethel, and Dillingham. This will be my last year to join wrestling, so I will try to do my best.

Coach Cory by Diana Evan
Cory
Stringer is a principal at Pilot Station School. When he was twenty-six years
old, he first started coaching. When
everyone was cheering for his team it gave him a sense of pride. He had so many
exciting games. In one of them, the boys were down by four and had thirty
seconds left. What he did was set up a play; one of his players shot a three,
got fouled, and won the game. When he went to state, there were awards like All
Star, Most Valuable Player, and academic awards. It was a learning experience
for him to go to state because he didn’t realize how far behind his team was
until he watch others play. When he was preparing his team, they watched others
play and talked about what they need to improve. Coaching in Montana was
memorable because he got his name on the trophy for the first time.

Wrestling by Ashley Fancyboy
When you join wrestling, you stretch out your body, exercise, and work out. When you're done stretching, you and your partner work on moves. If you join wrestling, it is fun to learn how to wrestle. A person who has been on the team for a while will show you how to move fast. Its is going to be hard when you first join to get the moves right; it takes a while to learn. When I first joined wrestling, it was hard to run, work out, exercise, and wrestle with my partner. Wrestling is hard work, so it is better to be in shape. When you join, pay attention to your coach.
Volleyball by Cindy Paul
Volleyball is a sport. Very few people in the village play volleyball. You'll have to push yourself to learn how to play because it is competitive. If you join volleyball, you will need to learn how to serve over the net, bump pass, set, and spike. And, you will have to communicate. There will be six teammates on the floor ready to play, and on each side, there will be only three hits. Many of the players must be in shape to succeed in the game.
